Hello, my name is Corinna Parker and I am the founder of Footprints Counselling and Supervision which was borne over six years ago and is based in Bebington Village. My commercial premises are purpose designed for maximum comfort.
I am a level six CPCAB qualified integrative counsellor, cognitive behaviour therapist and Centre of Excellence neuro linguistic practitioner with further degree level training. I am an experienced qualified clinical supervisor working with student and qualified counsellor's as well as offering consultancy supervision. This ensures peace of mind that I can hold and contain my clients in a safe way. I am a fully insured member of the professional bodies BACP and BABCP and continue to engage in training to improve my practice and the interventions I offer, assuring my clients that I work safely and to an ethical framework. I hold an enhanced DBS (disclosure and barring service) certificate. I work in a holistic way, keeping all of the client in mind when considering tailor made therapeutic interventions to suit the unique needs of each individual client. I work mindfully and write personal guided meditations to help my clients maintain a more manageable lifestyle, which can incorporate (Gestalt) safe place work. I have trained with The School of Economic Science in practical philosophy, learning breathing and meditation techniques. I have completed further training working with bereavement and loss, couples and relationships, anxiety and depression and a host of other areas.
I volunteered at Age UK Wirral for their counselling team for over ten years giving my time to support local people.
My client's welfare and comfort are my first consideration above all else.
I look forward to welcoming you to Footprints and helping you live your best life.
